Spring Walk in Wimberly, Texas
 March 20 & 21, 2010

This 10Km & 5Km walk is sponsored by New Braunfels Marsch-und Wandergruppe and the Wimberly Mayor's Fitness Council. The Starting Point is the Wimberly Community Center, 14068 Ranch Road 12, Wimberly, Texas. Walking events are Saturday from 8:00AM to 12:00 Noon & Sunday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. All walks must be completed by 3:00 PM each day. All walkers must register and obtain start cards for the checkpoint verification. There is no preregistration. The fees are: IVV Stamp, $ 3.00; non-IVV Participation, $ 3.00. There will be no refunds. Each paid walker will receive a local merchant's discount coupon book donated by the Wimberly Chamber of Commerce and the Wimberly Merchants Association. This event is open to the public. All ages are invited to walk or jog the marked route at their own pace. Persons under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Restrooms are available at the starting point and along the route. Parking is available at the starting point. This route is rated IVV 1, which means it is not suitable for strollers and wheel chairs. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Water is available for pets at the checkpoints. Water and lemonade are available to walkers at two checkpoints. The sponsors are not liable for accidents, thefts, and/or material damage. The event will be held regardless of the <weather>. When you register, you accept the guidelines for AVA Volkssport events and agree to observe the principles of good sportsmanship.
